Job Description:
A company is looking for a Certified Coder (Remote) in
Otolaryngology.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical record documentation to select appropriate diagnoses
and procedures
Code evaluation and management to appropriate CPT and ICD-9
codes
Assist with physician documentation requirements and prepare case
reports for billing
Required Qualifications
Must have one of the following coding credentials: AHIMA (CCA, CCS,
or CCS-P) or AAPC (CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A)
No specific work experience is required
Associate degree in Medical Coding & Billing is preferred
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred
