Peak Systems, Inc. is seeking Deployment Technicians for a PC/Laptop Installation and Data Migration project at a client location in Alcoa, TN 37701.

Job Description

Position: Deployment Technician

Hourly Rate: $22- $24 Based on experience

Start Date: Monday, March 31, 2025 (after Onboarding requirements)

Duration: 1 Week (No Weekends)

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 8hrs per Day, 40hrs a week


Job Scope

Technicians will be responsible for de-installing legacy units, setting up new systems, completing data migration, software installation, and post-deployment configuration. Additional tasks include asset tracking and QA of all units for connectivity and functionality.

Principal Accountabilities:

Unpack and inspect all hardware prior to installation
Plug all power cords into electrical sources
Boot the new product and verify network connection for connected devices
Execute domain join
Log on to the new product
Configure the IP address
Data Migration
Map a network or local printer, set up email and connect to the internet
App Install

Qualifications:

Resume illustrating 3+ Years of experience with servicing and deploying PC/Laptop equipment, peripherals, and managing data, including software installation, imaging, data migration and troubleshooting, app Installation, etc.
Great Communication
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and comprehend technical scripts
3-5+ Years of experience with servicing and deploying PC/Laptop equipment, peripherals, and managing data, including software installation, imaging, data migration and troubleshooting.
Certification or equivalent work experience
