Remote Hybrid (Preferred Locations: Knoxville, TN or Roswell, GA)A Cruit Group client, a leader in innovative technology solutions, is seeking a Solution Architect or Senior Solution Architect to join their team. This role is instrumental in designing and implementing scalable architecture solutions that align with business goals and technical standards. The position can be remote for the right candidate, but preference will be given to those based in Knoxville, TN, or Roswell, GA.Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into architectural designs.
• Identify required components to solve business challenges and perform gap analysis.
• Document and communicate findings related to technical solutions.
• Mentor Solutions Architects in discovery activities and documentation.
• Develop architecture diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucid that adhere to enterprise architecture standards.
• Define architecture components, including business, data, network, and security flows.
• Outline and document disaster recovery (DR) requirements, including RPO, RTO, Hosting Regions, and Environments.
• Present architecture designs to IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Create reusable reference architectures and design patterns in enterprise repositories (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).
• Oversee architecture updates and coordinate changes through the review process.
• Support strategic planning and long-term technical roadmaps for technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards.Technical Focus Areas for the Interview:In addition to data experience, candidates should be prepared to discuss:
  • Application and API deployment
  • CI/CD and orchestration
  • Containers
  • Design work they have personally executed
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) / Serverless Architecture
  • Decoupling technologies
  • Scalability and elasticity fundamentalsKey Qualifications & Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role.
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Experience with observability, microservices, serverless computing, APIs, and high availability/DR design.
    • Hands-on expertise in AWS (required); Azure is a plus.
    • Experience with integration platforms (Mulesoft strongly preferred).
    • Familiarity with design tools (Visio, Lucid, draw.io); Visio preferred.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Experience conducting requirements discovery, gap analysis, and presenting architectural designs.
    • Experience with data platforms is a plus, but not required.
