Counselor - Advocate - Specialist (HS/Equivalent or Bachelor's)

and apply today!COUNSELORS and ADVOCATES (NON-RESIDENTIAL)
- Counselors and Advocates provide information and referral,
agency linkage, advocacy, home visits and follow-up services as
defined by the individualized goals of program participants. This
includes a range of services from child development, family
support, child abuse prevention, victim support and more.
- Examples of Counseling and Advocate positions are Outreach
Advocate.
- Starting salary is $16.22/hour and up (full time) depending on
position, education, and relevant experience. Caseload and
frequency of contact vary based on client needs and acuity, program
focus, and population served. These factors as well as travel
requirements and on-call expectation determine salary.PEER SUPPORT
SPECIALISTS
- Peer Support Specialists are individuals that are primary
mental health consumers with appropriate life experience (mental
health or substance use) and a desire to be a role model for
recovery. Some experience leading groups is desired as well as
experience in customer service. Applicants should possess the
ability to relate to individuals and families of varied ethnic and
cultural backgrounds, ages, educational levels, and economic
circumstances with respect and dignity.
- Examples of Peer Support Specialists are CSU Peer Support
Worker.
- Starting salary is $16.40/hour (full time); depending on
position, education, and relevant experience. Caseload and
frequency of contact vary based on client needs and acuity, program
focus, and population served. These factors as well as travel
requirements and on-call expectation determine salary. Increased
salary if individual is a valid Certified Peer Recovery
Specialist.RESIDENTIAL COUNSELORS
- Residential Counselors are identified as residential because
they are based in a facility that utilizes round-the-clock staff
(CSU, Behavioral Health Urgent Care, Adolescent Residential
Treatment, Adult A&D, etc.).
- Work schedules are often shift-based and require evenings,
overnights, weekends, and holidays. Shift differential supplemental
pay is available for 2nd and 3rd shift in most residential
facilities. Some programs transport clients to and from the
facility as required, and an F-endorsement is required.
- Residential Counselors serve in a direct care role that
involves supervising/monitoring clients in an inpatient or
residential setting, performing intakes, inventorying belongings,
performing safety checks, facilitating psychoeducational groups,
and providing a supportive environment for the clients.
- Examples of residential facilities at McNabb Center are CSU
Residential Counselors.
- Starting salary for a HS/Equivalent level clinician in these
settings ranges from $16.22 (full time). Bachelor's level
clinicians start at $18.24 / hour. Facility, client population, and
acuity as well as position, education and relevant experience
determine salary.
Customer Service and Benefits Specialist
- Provides daily response to all phone calls directed to
Outpatient Services, including providing messages/notes to nurses
for calls related to medication questions, answering questions of
next scheduled medication appointments, rescheduling medication
appointments, and other related phone calls.
- Maintain schedule for all clinic staff and prescribers in order
to ensure productivity standards are met.
- Provide reminder phone calls to all patients 24 hours prior to
medication appointments.
- Assist staff to meet set productivity standards within
compliance of HRMC policy and procedures.
- Maintain medical charts, send items to be scanned into
Centricity to Medical Records at Children and Youth Center, as well
as Adult Center.
- Complete all client benefits requirements at intake and overall
make the intake process more efficient. Will manage Intake Log,
Magellan Reporting, and Client Compliance.
- Will manage co pays with cash and credit cards.
- Will keep up with all pay sources to ensure they are current
and correctly recorded in EMR.
- Will be up to date on CNF forms and send to scanning.
- Starting salary for this position is approximately $16.12/hr
based on relevant experience and education.
