Job Description:

This position is assisting older adults by providing in-home care Knoxville, TN. Day shifts are: 8a to 8p and Nights are: 8p to 8a.Our main concerns are Safety, Meal Prep and Transportation. Patience and Dementia experience would be helpful tools in this position.

Responsibilities:

Assist seniors with all areas of daily living

* Must have VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
* Lifting/carrying occasional up to 30 lbs., climbing, bending/kneeling, sitting, walking/standing, and repetitive motion.
* Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate.
* Capable of working independently and to carry out tasks with minimum supervision
* Clean arrest record to include no felonies of any nature
* Able to successfully pass a drug test
* Must have a clear status to the elderly abuse and sexual predator registry
* Ability to read and write effectively and communicate with other caregivers
* Must be a U.S. Citizen or have a certificate to work in the United States
* Must have successful work record
* Must be able to effectively communicate with the patient and staff
* Ability to stay awake and alert at all times
* Spirit of service with the elder members of our community
