Job Description:

Position Summary:

Supports the Infection Prevention department's hand hygiene program by collecting and providing feedback on hand hygiene and transmission-based compliance observations throughout the medical center. Assists with maintenance of data records and report generation to meet departmental requirements.

Position Qualification:

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)

6 months - 1 year relevant experience (or equivalent education) preferred

Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function. A team member who does not meet attendance standards outlined in the Personnel Policy, Attendance and Tardiness, is not qualified for this position.

Ability to report for work in a condition to perform job responsibilities and essential functions in a safe and productive manner.

Ability to get along with others and consistently engage in and promote positive interactions in the workplace.

Ability to meet the physical requirements for the position.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to maintain composure during confrontations.

Ability to operate computer and various software.

Ability to transverse throughout medical center for 8-12 hr. shifts.
