The Nurse Manager Oncology will report to the Director of Nursing, overseeing daily operations and fostering a supportive environment for our dedicated oncology nursing team.
The Oncology unit provides comprehensive care to cancer patients, focusing on evidence-based treatments and patient-centered care. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to support patients and their families throughout their cancer journey.
Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the Oncology unit, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
  
• Supervise nursing staff, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to promote professional growth and development.
  
• Collaborate with physicians, healthcare professionals, and support staff to coordinate patient care plans and treatment protocols.
  
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  
• Oversee budgetary and resource management for the Oncology unit, optimizing utilization of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
  
• Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous learning among staff to promote a positive work environment.
  
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

  The ideal candidate will posses an active RN license. Candidates with 5 years of progressive nursing experience in oncology, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role will earn a quick interview. Candidates with strong clinical expertise in oncology nursing practices and patient care delivery, excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are desirable.
