  • HCA Healthcare (Parent) is seeking an RN for Mission Hospital.
  • The department has a mix of 23 step-down and 16 med-surg beds.
  • Offers a travel employment type contract.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have at least 2 years of nursing experience.
    • Experience working with trachs is required.
    • Preferred candidates will have previous experience with Cerner.
      • Schedule Information
      • Day Shift - 1 charge, 11 RN, 4 PCT.
      • Night Shift - 1 charge, 10 RN, 4 PCT.
      • Patient Ratios - 1:3-4 Step down, 1:4-6 med surg.
      • Weekends and On call - 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6-week period.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Number of Beds - 23 step down, 16 med surg.
        • Type of staff: Day/Night Shifts with designated charge, RN, and PCT counts.
        • Type of equipment - lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, trachs.
        • EMR - Cerner.
        • List of typical procedures performed on unit(s): Trach care, chest tubes, wound dressing changes.
        • Best personality Fit: Flexibility and high level of clinical competence.
        • Floating Areas: Other med surg and progressive care units.
        • Dress Code - Navy blue scrub attire.
