Job Description:
A company is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) -
Technical Writer to lead the creation and management of technical
documentation for IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive documentation for IT systems, including cloud
platforms and databases
Document IT policies and processes, ensuring compliance with
federal standards
Collaborate with subject matter experts to capture technical
specifications and workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Information Technology,
Communications, or related field (or 10+ years of relevant
experience)
8+ years of experience as a technical writer in a federal or large
enterprise environment
In-depth knowledge of IT architecture and cloud platforms
Proven experience documenting technical processes and policies
Expertise with documentation tools such as MadCap Flare and Adobe
FrameMaker
